RESOURCES FOR
ED419: MULTICULTURAL ISSUES IN EDUCATON
Faculty
Page
This page lists faculty members and their areas of expertise.
These individuals have agreed to be included as part of this human resource
page. Feel free to contact them directly by email. If you click
on a name, you will have an email form to complete that may be used to
send questions directly to the individual. There are a number of
photographs on this page, so it may take a longer time to upload.
WEB
Resources
Web Resources are sites on the web that I have found.
I am always interested in other useful sites and will add them if you share
them with me. The Sites are divided into three categories:
"Distance Education " leads to Oregon State University Valley Library tutorials
on how to use the library from a distance and much more. "Hubs" lead to
many web sites off campus or out-of-state. "Destinations" usually have
specific useful material, but will probably also lead to other sites.
On Site Resources at Oregon State University
include the following:
-
The Multicultural and Diversity Resource Room outside of Jean's
office, 210D Education Hall contains loaner copies of all the articles
on the syllabus. Some of the optional books are also available and
may be read in this room.
-
Resources in Valley Library
-
Resource Notebooks may be checked out for two hours at a time (if borrowed
shortly before closing, they may be returned the following morning, ask
for details at the desk). These notebooks contain copies of
articles on the syllabus, many of the stories shared in class, information
on APA format needed for the assignment which will result in a class annotated
bibliography, and lists of other resources available in the library.
-
Books
listed on the syllabus are on two-hour reserve, books may also be purchased
from the OSU
bookstore. (Check book prices
here).
-
Films listed
on the syllabus may be viewed at Valley Library.
