The Adolescent Psyche deals with various issues related to adolescence
and developments that occur during this age period. I chose this
book
because it has relevance no matter what ethnic background a person
has,
but with the recognition that various backgrounds may also have
different experiences. Also, students development through the
ages of
adolescence is perhaps the most important stage in a persons life.
Five Questions
1) What does the author think the number one issue related to
adolescence is in relation to parents, adults, and teachers?
2) What does the author think the number one issue related to
adolescence is in relation to the person gong through adolescence?
3) How can parents and teachers learn to understand the various
differences in experience that various cultures represent?
4) In which ways does the author think ethnic and cultural background
can affect students development?
5) How can we, as teachers, best help students who are have different
backgrounds learn to connect with eachother?
