Dave's ESL Cafe: The Internet's Top Site for ESL/EFL Students and Teachers from Around the World. Where English is Fun! <http://www.eslcafe.com>

I chose this website because as a future ESL teacher it is a great resource for ideas and updates.  There is a teacher forum so ideas can be shared and communication is very facilitated.  The site offers non-native English speakers ESL training along with a HUGE list of options.  Just a few offered are "quizzes, idioms, on-line-help, teacher email, mailing lists, slang, photo gallery, etc. etc."  the site also offers links to other related topics.

I really enjoy visiting this website to get ideas and knowing that I could mail for help puts me at ease when I start getting uptight about being "on my own" next year.  I have used this site several times just this term because I was student teaching ESL 1 & 3 at CHS.
I will also have a chance to meet Dave Sperling this Spring break because he will be up at a TESOL convention in Vancouver BC doing different workshops. Tara Meade and I are going up there to try to find an ESL job somewhere in the world!!

These 5 questions are what I would ask Dave Sperling if given the chance:

 1.  In a classroom with students from many different cultures, what is
your experience with discussing religious topics?

 2.  Do you discuss culture in your classroom?

 3.  How do you deal with cultural differences in the classroom?

 4.  What is your most memorable, rewarding experience?

 5.  What cultural aspects have you learned as a teacher?
