AISES. http://www.spot.colorado.edu~aises/guidelines.html.

One thing that I particularly liked about this website was that is
dealt with issues regarding under-represented minorities.  So often we
forget about the American Indians and think that racism is just a black or
white issue.  The website offered curiculums and lesson plans that would
incorporate the native culture.  The website had several links in which
people of Native American heritage could chat with other people from their
culture, find out about scholarship opportunities and told about good
guidelines for a multicultural program.  The website also informed people
of opportunites such as camps and summer programs.

The five questions that I have for the author are:
 1.  Do children get better grades when their education is more centered
 around their cultural background?

 2.  Has the person who created the website felt that they had an
unfulfilling education being that they rarely learned about the history of
 their people?

 3.  Has frustration with the education system caused more Native Americans
 to home school their children?

 4.  What other under represented minorities could benefit from this
 program?

 5.  What are the barriers in incorporating this program into the
 classroom?
