The TESOL website is wonderful for all teachers not just teachers of English to non-native English teachers! This website offers all kinds of help. They have national standards, job searchs, a list serve, ideas for lesson plans, membership information, meeting information, and lots more resources.
I use this site a lot!It has been very helpful as I am sure it will continue to be very helpful in the future.
Five Questions for the audience:
1. Do you have non-native English speaking students in your classroom
or school?
2. Do you know what their native languages are?
3. What are their native languages?
4. Is there anyone in your school/community that also speaks
that language?
5. How can you assist these students in the classroom, school,
and community?
