The following recommended Best Management Practices are based on the national guidelines for Best Management Practices developed jointly by the nursery industry, state departments of agriculture, and scientists. Most of these BMPs are voluntary, but some of them (indicated in bold text on following pages) are required by state or federal regulatory agencies.
