Windows Paint is NOT recommended as the only image editor to have.  You should be able to resize and edit both JPG and GIF images.  Many digital cameras come with photo editors that may work ok.  Most computers with Microsoft Office and many computers with Windows 98 also have Microsoft Photo Editor installed.  Other image graphics software titles to look for include Adobe PhotoShop, Paint Shop Pro, Corel PhotoPaint, or similar.
