Lesson 1 - Getting Started
Students entering this class are expected to be experienced computer users. You should be comfortable making and saving
files, naming and renaming files, and you should know what a 'file
extension' is (for example, .exe). You should know how to use a word
processor and be fluent in copy/paste operations. It's a plus if
you've used photo editing software.
Lesson 1 is an overview of some basics of computer and Internet use, and you make
your first entries into the Discussion Board. Links to the task are in
the menu bar above. Begin with Task 1. You can often work on
more than one Task at a time.
You should be a responsible computer user and be able to work independently.
But always remember that your instructor and you classmates are available in
the Discussion Board to help out whenever needed. |
