To see what the ONID or ENG server offers, make a file called info.php with this line of code:

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

Save it to that server and view it in the browser. Here are the results. Use this information in your plan.

Thank you for your interest in Web Authoring. In this class you'll plan, design, and produce a working online content management system complete with relevant content. We'll take 10 weeks to do that, learning new skills each week.

For 2009

Please attend class and only use your laptop if you can pay attention to the lectures and demonstrations.

Office hours are for students who are struggling with my instructions.

• Only visit me in office hours if you have:
  • Attended class.
  • Spent time using the written instructions and are stuck.
• Instead of sending me an email when you are stuck, please use the forum in Blackboard to ask for help.
• Always include a link to your page(s).
• Be specific about which instruction you are stuck on.

If you miss class:

• Do not email me; I trust you had a good reason for missing class; no need to give me the details.
