Conducting a course entirely through the Web is a challenge to both student and instructor. There are several levels of technical assistance available to you should something go awry. In every case, be sure to write down what you were trying to do and what happened instead, so the technical assistant can more easily solve your problem. The more information you can provide, the faster your problem will be resolved.
- For questions about the technical end of specifically this course, contact me first (wilsomar@onid.orst.edu). Many issues are easily solved because I've seen them already!
- For questions about connecting to ONID, connecting to the OSU Web server, using the OSU mail system, using Blackboard, or using the OSU computer labs, try the various OSU computer help groups. But if you don't get a quick solution, contact me. I don't want a technical glitch to slow your progress in the course.
- For questions about your computer or Internet connection, of course, you have to contact your vendor.
- For general questions about distance education not covered elsewhere, try the ECampus Student Services.
