Power of 3 is a new initiative that allows everyone to give back to their community in three equally important ways. Anyone can donate food, time, or money to the Human Services Resource Center or the OSU Emergency Food Pantry and help people in the Corvallis community.
Donating just 3 cans of food can make a difference in a person's life and can help feed the people in your community. The HSRC welcomes food donations in Snell 233, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Items need to be unopened and cannot be past their due dates.
The HSRC and the OSU Emergency Food Pantry is always in need of volunteers. Donate just 3 hours of your time and help out your community. Spend 3 hours of time volunteering and help students and community members alike. Gain valuable volunteer experience in addition to aiding your community. We offer volunteer training in our office Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. Training takes about 30-60 minutes, so plan to stay for a bit. Once you're trained you can help out with the office or volunteer for a food pantry date.
Donating just $3 to the OSU Emergency Food Pantry can provide a lot of food for someone who needs it, in fact it can provide 21lbs of food for a student in need. For the price of a cup of coffee, you can change someone's life. We take cash donations at any time! You can visit our donation page or stop by the office to make a donation.
Whether it's food, time, or money you can help out and make a difference on our campus! Just 3 hours, 3 cans of food, or $3 dollars can really help out and make a positive change in someone's life. We also have many other opportunities where you can help out and get involved, including fundraisers that will be taking place throughout the year.
Please check our events page to learn more about our upcoming events and other ways you can help out!
