caption: This sign in German, "Arbeit macht frei" meaning "Work makes you free" is at the entrance of the Flossenburg Concentration Camp, Flossenburg, Germany, where hundreds of French, Russian, Jewish, and Slav slave labourers died weekly. The camp was discovered by the 97th Div., U.S. 3rd Army.
