caption: German civilians are forced by 97th Infantry Division men to locate and exhume some of the murdered prisoners who were marched from Flossenburg Concentration Camp as the Allies approached. Probing with a stick they came upon this man shot by S.S. men because they could not make the trip due to malnutrition and beatings.
