This software is licensed by Oregon State University for Students and Employees to install on personally owned computers.
If you need software for a University owned computer please check with your Department Computer Administrator (DCA) or visit the software distribution website.

This software is licensed for use by current OSU employees and students on personally owned computers. To comply with the license agreement, this software must be removed from personal computers once you are no longer employed at OSU, or are no longer a registered student. - Download the appropriate version from the two listed above, most computers will use the 32-bit version. Only download the 64-bit if you are certain you are using a 64-bit version of Windows. Determine if your version of Windows is using 32-bit or 64-bit with the directions linked here.
- Disconnect your computer from the Internet to keep it safeguarded while upgrading your anti-virus software.
- Uninstall any previously installed anti-virus software.
- Restart computer, ensure you are still disconnected from the Internet.
- Install Symantec EndPoint Protection.
- Configure the automatic update setting for the virus defintions and antivirus scans.
- Finish the installation.
- Restart the computer.
