CryptoLocker is dangerous, malicious computer software that encrypts your data files (word, powerpoint, pictures, music, videos, etc.). The nefarious individuals then hold your data for ransom and try to extort money from you.

Reasons why you want to set up your ONID account as soon as you can.
- Many professors use class email lists to contact students. Without an ONID email account, you may be missing important information.
- In order to access Blackboard, students and professors must have a valid ONID account.
- Using on-campus computers requires a valid ONID account.
- ONID accounts have access to Google Apps including Gmail and Google drive.
