How to Log in Through the Traditional Google Sign-in Portal
When sharing a document or file to an ONID email address using Google apps, the recipient will be sent an invitation to look at the file. When they click the link, they will be redirected to the traditional Google log in page instead of the ONID Central Authentication System (CAS) log in.
To get past the traditional Google sign in page you must use your ONID email address and leave the password field blank.
After selecting Sign in you will be redirected to the ONID CAS log in. Here you will use your ONID username and password to authenticate with the Google apps.
This can be avoided by entering the ONID username you wish to share a document with "firstname.lastname@example.org" instead of "email@example.com."
This happens because there is a log in code that is associated with the "firstname.lastname@example.org" addresses that directs you to the ONID CAS log in where as the "email@example.com" does not have that code therefore directing you to the Google sign in page.
