Can I use a Chromebook or Chromebox with my ONID login?

OSU Access Wireless portal has returned

The login page for the OSU Access wireless network has returned. Information about that can be found here.

OSU Access is an unsecured/unencrypted wireless network. OSU IT staff recommend you use the Eduroam or OSU Secure wireless networks.

Yes you can login to your ONID Gmail account via your Chrome book please follow these steps.

  1. Ensure you are connected to a reliable internet connection
  2. Press Add User at the bottom of the page.
  3. Sign in with your ONID Gmail account credentials

Once logged in you will see the “Shelf” or “taskbar” along the bottom of the screen. Because all information is stored via the “cloud” any changes made to account settings, preferences or themes will be automatically transferred to where ever the Google account is used.

You may not want to use your ONID account because once you have graduated or left the university there is a period of inactivity and then your ONID account including the Google associated account will be deleted.
