Today some users of the OSU wireless network experienced connectivity problems due to insufficient backend resources to hand out network addresses. Primary Contact: Joel Burks, email@example.com NERO has been informed that there will be fiber work in a splice case that carries traffic between Salem and Eugene. Except for opening the splice case, the fibers that NERO uses will not be disturbed. The contractor reports they do not expect any disruption to service.

Incident, resolved: Data Center Network Date and Time: 9/26/14 12:34:14 to 12:44:18 At approximately 9/26/14 12:35 an emergency change was made to a data center router. The change inadvertently caused the data center network to go down for 10 minutes. This would have affected most, if not all services on campus.

As demand for the OSU Wireless network service has increased this week, we have received various reports of wireless issues.
