1 Goal:
End Childhood Hunger
About the ProjectFrom small grassroots movements to nation-wide initiatives, America is rising to meet the challenge of combating child hunger. This summer, Oregon State University (OSU) Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) will tour 15 cities to study programs dedicated to this cause. Our SIFE project, Hunger in the Homeland, will start with education and expand to an awareness campaign spanning across the nation. On June 18th, 2009, OSU SIFE embarked on our 15 city-wide tour across the nation (see below for route) to bring awareness and step towards ending childhood hunger in the United States. Our travels will go from sunny California, to the heart of Texas, rounding out in North Carolina, through St. Louis, into Denver, and on back to Oregon.
