Qualifications for Membership

  1. Requirements for membership as of March 12, 2003.
    1. Completion of at least 5 terms of college course (this includes terms completed at other universities/colleges.)
    2. Completion of at least 14 credits in psychology courses (this includes psychology courses taken at other universities/colleges).
    3. Registration for major or minor standing in psychology or for a program psychological in nature.
    4. Undergraduate students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 (only OSU GPA counts) and a minimum GPA of 3.0 in all psychology courses.
    5. Graduate students must have a 3.3 or better in all graduate courses.
    6. High standards of personal behavior.
    7. Two-thirds affirmative vote of those present at a regular meeting of the chapter.
  2. Do not include the $35 national membership fee when you turn in your completed application. This will not be collected until eligibility has been verified and the chapter has voted.
  3. Completed applications can be returned to Dr. Connor-Smith's box in Moreland 204 (Dr. Connor-Smith is our faculty advisor).
