Club Practice

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at Knox Butte Equestrian Acres

The club meets for practices on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the term. We meet in the parking lot behind Wilson Hall to carpool to practice. On Mondays we leave the parking lot at 6:30PM, and on Wednesdays/Fridays we leave the parking lot at 5:00PM.

Practice usually lasts about 3 hours. Practice begins with the cleaning of the club stalls, grooming the horses, and tacking the horses. We then meet up in the arena to work drills and play practice chukkers. As practice winds down we move back to the barn to untack the horses and groom them once more.

Club Informational Meeting

We will be meeting in the lower-classroom in Dixon Recreational Center on campus. Candy will be provided as well as all of the information you will ever need to know about our club!

Eastern Oregon University

Both the Men and Women Varsity teams will be competing in a fun-filled weekend of polo matches, hosted by EOU.

University of Idaho

Both the Men and Women Varsity teams, as well as a JV team, will be competing in a tournament along with the University of Idaho and Washington State University.

The matches will be hosted at the University of Idaho's polo facility.

Northwest Regional Tournament

The Men and Women Varsity teams will be competing in the Regional Tournament along with the University of Idaho, Washington State University, Eastern Oregon University and also Montana State University. The Men and Women's team which wins the tournament will have the opportunity to travel to Virginia to compete in the National Intercollegiate Polo Tournament.

WSU @ Knox Butte Equestrian Acres

Both the Women's Varsity and JV teams will be competing in matches this weekend, hosted by Oregon State University.

Varsity will play at 1PM on Saturday, while the JV match will take place at 10AM on Sunday.

CalPoly and Stanford

Both the Men and Women Varsity teams, as well as a JV team, will be competing in polo matches hosted at both Stanford University and CalPoly.

University of Idaho and Washington State University

Both the Men and Women Varsity teams will be traveling north this weekend for polo matches. The men will be competing against University of Idaho, while the women play Washington State University.

UofI at Knox Butte Equestrian Acres

Both the Men and Women Varsity teams will be competing in matches this weekend against the University of Idaho, hosted by Oregon State University.
