ASOSU Student Parent Advocate - Our Little Village

The Student Parent Advocate is the arm of Our Little Village. It is the Student Parent Advocate charge to act on your behalf on numerous OSU committees, respond to your University concerns, and be your resource for all things family oriented in the OSU and Corvallis communities. It is the primary goal of the Student Parent Advocate to ensure that OSU students are attaining the most affordable childcare possible in efforts to enhance students' success, and the success of their children.

ASOSU Saferide

Saferide is a task force of women and men dedicated to raising awareness about rape on campus. Free transportation is provided in the evenings to women and men on and off campus. Saferide also sponsors Rape Awareness Week and provides speakers and programs during Spring Term.

Sexual Assault Support Services

Sexual Assault Support Services (SASS) offers support for student survivors of sexual assault, sexual abuse, relationship violence, sexual harassment, stalking, and unwanted sexual contact. Confidential services available include telephone or in-person support, advocacy, ongoing counseling, and support groups. SASS also offers consultation to faculty, staff, and students interested in providing support to survivors, and works cooperatively with community and university agencies who serve survivors. In addition, SASS offers educational programming concerning sexual violence, and provides training for individuals and groups involved in sexual assault response and education.

The Women's Center

The OSU Women's Center provides resources, programs, services and opportunities for activism and involvement that assist in improving the status of women. The Women's Center has provided programs and support for and about women for over 32 years. Hours are 9:00 am to 6:00pm, Monday through Thursday and 9:00am to 5:00pm Friday.

The Ada Project

The Ada Project (TAP) is a clearinghouse for information and resources related to women in computing. TAP serves primarily as a collection of links to other online resources, rather than as an archive. TAP includes information on conferences, projects, disucssion groups and organizations, fellowships and grants, notable women in Computer Science, and other electronically accessible sites. The goal of TAP is to provide a central location through which these resources can be "tapped".
