Cultural Festival

Kalmekak organizes "Festivalito" an Artistic Cultural Festival.  This festival is held every year in May.  It is an event in which community members and leaders of all ages participate and present their talents with the purpose to expose the mexicano/chicano/latino culture to other communities.  It also serves to pass traditions through music, theatre, and art to the next generations in order to promote pride in our culture.

Conexiones

Conexiones is a weeklong program. This program provides many academic opportunities and exploration of campus resources.

Partnering with Schools

In addition to the festival every year, Kalmekak also organizes mini tours for those students and individuals that do not have the chance to participate in other recruitment events. We coordinate and work with teachers and counselors to work out a program for such mini tours and orientation in order to provide a quality event.
