RMF Staff Changes

If you’ve had maintenance needs attended to recently, you may have noticed new faces.  There are some changes in RMF (Residential maintenance & Facilities) Staff.

Lloyd Rowland has been our main maintenance person at Orchard Court since October 2001.    Lloyd will be retiring from RMF at the end of March, but you might still see him at Orchard Court on a temporary basis until the end of June.  Lloyd has provided professional and friendly service and his diligence and hard work have helped Orchard Court run smoothly.  If you see Lloyd around OC, please join us in wishing him well in his new ventures in life.

RMF has also recently changed the way work is assigned so that all the general maintenance staff will cover all University Housing & Dining Services facilities.  So starting this month, general maintenance needs will be responded to by a variety of RMF Staff members—Lloyd Rowland, Dave Sass, Cliff Ross, Bob Hobbs, and David Hill.

You may also meet staff members who are specialists within certain trades:  Charles Peoples, electrical; Mike Hammer, plumbing; Rich Robinson, Jimmy Berghoffer, and Tony Long, painting; Richard Moxley, plaster; Mike Hartwig, carpentry; and Craig Nelson, locks and keys.

If you have problems with your window blinds, you’ll meet one of the RMF Custodial staff—Gerry Frank or Kitty Dains.
You might also meet one of the RMF Coordinators:  Birdie Avery, Chris Romeo, Steve Haney, and Ted Greely.
Our Grounds care is provided by RMF Staff—Jim Weldon, Kenny Rowland, and student workers.
All RMF Staff are required to wear name tags that identify them.
To help provide feedback to RMF, we will begin implementing the customer evaluation system RMF utilizes in the other UHDS facilities.  Every 10th work request submitted generates a Customer Evaluation of Service form - Orchard Court staff will contact these residents to solicit feedback after the work has been requested and/or completed.  If you have a few minutes when we call or drop by, we’d appreciate your comments.
