CAP.OSU will take place in 106 Owen Hall on the Oregon State University campus, Corvallis, Oregon. Registration opens Thursday evening, August 4 at 5:00 pm. We conclude at 5:30 pm Saturday, August 6.

Rooms are available at the Holiday Inn Express on the Willamette river nearby to campus and downtown. Free wireless internet, fitness room, pool, and other excellent amenities. We have used this option for prior conference with excellent results.

Transportation
Air transportation:
Flights to Portland are often cheaper than to Eugene, but there are many direct flights to Eugene (via Denver or SF). If the cost difference is small, opt for the Eugene destination.

  • Portland International Airport (PDX) on the east edge of Portland 90 miles North of Corvallis (2 hour drive)
  • Eugene Airport (EUG) 44 miles south of Corvallis (50 minute drive)

Driving Directions

From Interstate 5 (I-5 South from Portland or I-5 North from Eugene)

*Take I-5 S to Corvallis Exit 228
*Head East on Hwy. 34 (about 10 mi).
*Over the bridge and onto Van Buren (just one road, no turns) Stay left and go to 14th street.
* Left on 14th street.
* Straight through a few intersections to the intersection with Monroe.
*Cross Monroe. The next cross street is Campus Way. Parking on the left, right and on the street.
*If you are parking on from 8-5 M-F, you will need a pass. See the parking directions page. And, if you have followed these directions, OSU Parking Services (Adams Hall) is just a few blocks further on 15th.

From Highway 99 West from Eugene Airport

*Leave the airport to enter Hwy 99 W towards Junction city and Corvallis (not towards Eugene or Springfield).
*Pass through Junction City and Monroe on Hwy 99.
*Enter Corvallis as Hwy. 99 becomes 3rd street.
*Stay on 3rd street as you drive through Corvallis.
*Several intersections later you will cross Harrington (it heads out of town over the bridge).
*Turn left on Van Buren.
*Left on 14th street.
* Straight through a few intersections to the intersection with Monroe.
* Cross Monroe. The next cross street is Campus Way.
