Officer Positions

President

The President is responsible for maintaining the organizations constitutional duties, supervising the various director efforts, organizing and managing meetings, and issuing press releases from the group.

Vice-President of Publicity

The Vice-President of Publicity is responsible for managing the Publicity Committee. The Publicity Committee is responsible for contacting campus resources to promote the drive, working with KBVR Radio/TV, the Barometer, the Memorial Union Programs Council, the Memorial Union Offices, and various building regulations to best maximize information outreach

Vice-President of Recruitment

The Vice-President of Recruitment is responsible for managing Recruitment Committee. The Recruitment Committee is responsible for direct recruitment of donors and volunteers, making visits to campus groups and organizations. The Vice-President of Recruitment is also responsible for the Greek, Residence Hall, and Cooperative House competitions.

Director of Finance

The Director of Finance works with the Memorial Union Business Office to monitor and access our student organization funds. This Director is responsible for working with the Red Cross Donor Resources Representative to balance the account.

Director of Greek Recruitment

The Director of Greek Recruitment is responsible for working with Greek Life to promote the drives to on campus residents of the Fraternities and Sororities.

Secretary

The Secretary is responsible for taking down the meeting minutes, distributing the minutes, and act as a reference to past decisions and happenings.

Director of Volunteer Recruitment

The Director of Volunteer Recruitment is responsible for managing volunteer efforts for the drive. This involves working with donor recruitment efforts to address volunteer opportunities as well, and developing a schedule for the various required positions such that the drive is adequately staffed.

Director of Residence Hall Recruitment

The Director of Residence Hall Recruitment is responsible for working with the Residence Hall Association to promote the drives to on campus residents of the Residence Halls and Cooperative Houses.

Director of Development

The Director of Development is responsible for contacting various elements of the greater community to obtain support. Also, this Director is responsible for developing competitions between campus organizations.

Director of Education

The Director of Education is responsible for developing awareness materials and programs for students. In addition, this director is responsible for developing training for volunteers, and supervising training during the drives.

Director of Sign-up Tables

The Director of Sign-up Tables is responsible for planning and organize the staffing of an informational table either in or around the Memorial Union the week before the drive. This table acts as an appointment scheduling location, a distributor of information to the public, and a promoter of our student organization

Support Members

The Blood Drive Association wouldn't go anywhere without its membership. These individuals are welcomed to be engaged in every aspect of the group, and play a significant role in supporting our mission!

American Red Cross Donor Resources Representative

The American Red Cross Donor Resources Representative is a regional representative from the Pacific Northwest Blood Services Region serves as a liaison to the group and assists with planning and implementing the drives.

OSU Faculty/Graduate Advisor

The OSU Advisor is responsible for advising the student organization and providing assistance when working with various campus resources.
