Welcome to Beta Alpha Psi

 

Beta Alpha Psi is a national scholastic and professional accounting organization formed in 1919. The primary objective of the organization is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the field of accounting. This includes promoting the study and practice of accounting; providing opportunities for self-development and association among members and practicing accountants, and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.

 

Epsilon

 

The Oregon State University chapter is called the Epsilon Chapter because it was the fifth chapter organized in the nation. Students who are interested in joining should contact a current officer, attend weekly meetings and read the requirements for being a candidate and membership.

Upcoming Events/Announcements

Join us for this week's BAP Meeting, our guests will be from the accounting firm Grant Thornton. Take a look at this week's meeting flier for additional information. The meeting will be Wednesday, November 18th @ 6pm in the Moss Adams Accounting Classroom (Bexl 328) . Everyone is welcome to attend. Food and refreshments for this event are provided.

Crescent Valley High School robotics team needs your help. To be a part of the FIRST Robotics Competition, the team needs to function like a microcosm of the business world. It is not enough for our students to just "build a robot" they must also raise capital, manage resources (both monetary and personnel), create a team image, market our program to the general public, and report progress back to our sponsors among other things. Crescent Valley has approached the College of Business seeking interested COB students who might serve as business mentors for the team. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
