The first meeting of the 2009-2010 school year will be held on Thursday October 15th @ Noon in Wilkinson Hall Room 106.
Meeting topics include:
- 2009-2010 Planning Meeting
- OSU-ASPRS GIS related research grants and travel support
- Student Provisional Certification examinations in Remote Sensing, GIS, and Photogrammetry
- Stereo Photopair Demonstration
- New Officer Elections
June 04, 2009: Special thanks to Columbia River Region ASPRS President Erik Strandhagen who visted OSU and presented a talk entitled "3D Subsurface Geostatistical Analysis with LiDAR and Bathymetric Data."
Provisional Certification for Students: The OSU ASPRS student chapter will host a provisional certification exam on the OSU campus during June 2009. This is a unique opportunity for students to distinguish themselves and get a jump start on becoming a:
- Certified Photogrammetrist
- Certified Mapping Scientist, Remote Sensing
- Certified Mapping Scientist, GIS/LIS

Certified Photogrammetrist Michael Renslow gave a great presentation at the November OSU-ASPRS meeting on how and why to obtain provisional professional certification in Remote Sensing, GIS, and Photogrammetry with ASPRS.
