Real Women, Real Sisterhood, Real Fun!
While we work hard, we also like to play! Each quarter our chapter plans a multitude of social events – many are themed and hosted with other OSU sororities and fraternities. Some of our favorites from the past include:
- San Fran week with Lambda Chi
- A Luau with Tau Kappa Epsilon
- Jersey party with Phi Delta Theta
- Kickball tournament with Sigma Nu
- Formal My-Tie party with Kappa Sigma
- White T-shirt and Gangster Dinner and party
- Fall Barn Dance
- Spring Formal Dance
Alpha Phis love their Moms and Dads!
Each year, the ladies of Beta Upsilon Chapter honor their parents in conjunction with OSU’s Dad’s weekend in the fall and Mom’s weekend in the spring. Last year, we accompanied our dad’s to Reser Stadium where we cheered as the Beavers made history bringing down the not-so-mighty USC Trojans. Our dad’s were also treated to brunch, a barbecue co-sponsored with the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, and an auction.
In May, our Moms were wowed by the new members’ rendition of “Hairspray,” performed with the men of Theta Chi during the annual ISC “Sing” Competition. After a designer jeans and purse party, a barbecue hosted by Theta Chi, and an evening full of mother-daughter fun, the special weekend ended with a Sunday Brunch and basket auction.
Yes indeed, Alpha Phi’s like to have fun!!!
