Financial
Responsibilities
The
financial responsibilities that come along with fraternity and sorority
membership relate to the operating costs of the organization. National and chapter dues as well as insurance
costs are factors in the costs of joining a Greek organization. Other factors include pledging fees that are
paid to national organizations, as well as initiation fees (both are one-time
sums).
Housing
Housing
arrangements vary from organization to organization. All housed fraternities and sororities have
their own houses, which are controlled by their active chapter Housing
Corporation Board, not the University.
