Water Resources Engineering
Research summary: Currently adapting a snowmelt-runoff hydrologic model to estimate historic freshwater runoff into Prince William Sound. Once calibrated, the model will run in real time to forecast FWD using weather observations and short term forecasts. Model output will serve as a boundary condition for an ocean circulation model.
