Central Oregon Agricultural Resource Center
Columbia Basin Agricultural Resource Center
The Sherman Station is located on 230 acres of land near Moro and serves the field research needs of scientists from the OSU campus in Corvallis and the Pendleton Station. The onsite staff has a shop, office, weather station, and a full complement of farm equipment.
Eastern Oregon Agricultural Resource Center
The Eastern Oregon Agricultural Research Center at Burns is composed of both state and federal lands. Main offices and laboratory facilities are located on 640 acres of state land south of Burns.
Malheur Experiment Station
About the Station
The land surrounding the buildings at the Station is appropriate for research of onions, sugar beets, potatoes, small grains, alfalfa seed, and weed control. Specialized facilities include onion storage, an artificial onion dryer, potato storage, potato quality laboratory, an NOA weather station, and AgriMet weather station to estimate crop water use, chemical laboratory and storage facilities, a greenhouse, and specialized storage chambers.
