Financial Aid and Scholarships

As a general guideline, the school that you are taking the majority of credits from should be established as your home school. The primary factor in determining your home school for the OSU/Maui College Degree Partnership Program is the number of credits you are taking at each school. When you declare OSU as your home school, you must be enrolled in at least six credits for each term of enrollment at OSU to receive financial aid. The same applies when you declare Maui College as your home school. No financial aid will disburse to your account unless you are enrolled in a minimum of six credits at your designated home school.

Be sure to work with your Academic Advisor to insure the transferability of your coursework between OSU and Maui College. Courses that do not transfer in toward your degree cannot be counted for financial aid purposes. To verify that a course is transferable, please consult your academic advisor.
