This first step course provides a rich overview of the necessary components of a food business and how they relate to one another. Participants will walk away from this introductory course knowing the basics of food entrepreneurship. They will reflect on their own concerns, expectations and motivations and begin to mold their ideas into a viable business opportunity. Participants will receive a packet with information about where to find answers to their questions and where to find assistance for various activities from production to management to regulatory compliance.
