Creating a Food Entrepreneur (CAFÉ) Educational Series at the Food Innovation Center's (FIC) is designed to help new food industry entrants start and run a food business. Expanded from the original half-day workshop entitled NW Food Business 101, this two course series aims to demystify the food business start-up process and provide more detailed information and hands-on training to launch a real world enterprise.
The series is open to any entrepreneur, processor and distributor interested in advancing Northwest foods.
Multiple registrants per company or group are welcomed and encouraged.
Courses must be taken in sequential order (past participants of NW Food Business 101 can start with the second course in the series). All courses are held at the Food Innovation Center, 1207 NW Naito Parkway in Portland. Space is limited. Online registration is preferred.
