Shuttle

OSU offers a free campus shuttle service for the convenience of students, staff and visitors. There are two buses operating continuous trips throughout campus. The smaller bus transports 18 passengers and the large bus transports 27. There are North-Central and South-Central route services available to better serve riders. The paths of the shuttle routes are listed below as a reference, as are the 5 minute time points for each route so that the arrival time of each bus can be estimated.

Anyone may park at any OSU parking lot and take advantage of the shuttle’s quick service to all areas of campus. It takes approximately 15 minutes for the round trip. The buses are handicap accessible, heated and air conditioned for your comfort.

The OSU Shuttle bus operates during fall, winter and spring terms when school is in session. The shuttle does not operate during summer term, student breaks or holidays.

Those interested in renting the shuttle buses may contact TAPS at (541) 737–2583 for more information. Complete the Shuttle Bus Rental Agreement application form (page 2 of agreement, Appendix A) and mail or fax (541-737-4242) it to Transit & Parking Services. The rental fee for the 18 passenger shuttle is $40 an hour with a two hour minimum. The large 27 passenger shuttle rents for $45 an hour with a two hour minimum.

Shuttle Bus Routes

The OSU Shuttle service is a "flag-stop" system, which means the bus driver will stop for a pick up anywhere along the route with a signal from you. There are two routes, North-Central and South-Central, each with estimated 15-minute headways, (trips). View the Shuttle map for locations where the transfer points are between the two OSU Shuttle routes, as well as with the local public transit services: Corvallis Transit System, Philomath Connection and Linn-Benton Loop.

Each OSU Shuttle route has three, 5-minute time points that may be used to estimate the time necessary to be at the pick up point to get on the shuttle. Please be on time or a couple of minutes earlier than the estimated arrival time of the Shuttle, so you do not miss the bus. The 5-minute time points are listed in the brochure above, with their estimated time after each hour. For example, Time Point A means that the Shuttle route is estimated to be at that location on the map at 8:00am, 8:15am, 8:30am and 8:45am and so on.

For questions about the shuttle, please contact Transit & Parking Services at 541-737-2583.
