FAQs on Photo Upload Process

Is there a charge for the ID card?

Yes- your first ID card is $20 and it is automatically billed to your account your first term at OSU.   Replacement cards are $25.

Will I be charged if I upload a photo?

 There's no additional charge to upload a photo, just the standard $20 ID Card Fee for your first ID card, charged on your first tuition bill. If you are replacing your card, you will be asked to pay at the time you pick up your card.   If you do not pick up your card $25 will be charged to your student account.  

Will I receive any notification?

Yes- you will receive an email notifying you of your picture acceptance or denial.  If your picture is accepted, your email will tell you when you may pick up your photo. If it is denied, your email will give you further instructions. 

What will I need to pick up my photo ID?

You will need to have one of the following forms of Photo ID:

-DMV issued state driver license/identification card (with photo, name, date of birth, etc.)
-Passport

-U.S. military ID card
 
-U.S. Permanent Resident Card

When can I get my card?

If you are a newly admitted student and you are coming for START, you may pick up your card after you have met with your advisor.  All others may pick up their card when stated in the email notification you will receive after you submit your photo.  If you are not submitting a photo online, you may come to the ID Center to have your photo taken and you will be issued your card immediately. 

What happens if my photo is denied?

You will receive an email letting you know what you need to do to correct your photo.  Submission of inappropriate or offensive photographs may be reported to the OSU Student Conduct office as a violation of OSU Student Conduct Regulations, 576-015-0020, Section 6.
