Cashier's Office
Our Mission:
As a part of Business Affairs, our mission is to deliver timely and accurate cash transaction services to students, faculty, and staff; and support best practices regarding cash handling throughout the university.
Services we provide include accepting tuition payments, producing financial aid refund checks, dispensing alternative loan and scholarship checks, and supplying short-term emergency loans up to $250. The Cashier's Office also processes deposits for departments and auxiliaries, cashes personal reimbursements and payroll checks for OSU faculty and staff, and assists departments with cash handling policy compliance.
Hours and Location
We are open for walk-up customers from 8:30am to 4:30 pm Monday
through Friday on the first floor of Kerr Administration Building

Important Dates & Deadlines
Due Dates
Students - Unpaid balances on you student account after the 1st of each month are subject to interest charges of 1% (12% APR). For more information please see the billing schedule page.
Departments - Cash receipts must be in the Cashier's Office by noon on the last business day of each month to ensure inclusion in that month's processing.
Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit ApplicationSigning up for Direct Deposit is fast and easy. Authorization for direct deposit received on or before the 10th day of the month will be effective by the 1st day of the following month. Be advised it takes up to 3 weeks to process and activate a direct deposit request. If a refund is processed for you during this time, it will be in the form of a check.
Financial Aid Refunds
We suggest applying for financial aid early. If your financial aid has been completely processed and released by the Wednesday prior to the start of the term, a direct deposit or check will be available the first day of classes. Please see the full Refund Policy for more information.
