• February - Campus Clean-up will be held in association with Wellness Week
  
  In partnership with SOLV, the students of the University Honors College (Honors Activities and Advisory Committee) present the Campus Clean Up event as a part of Campus Wellness Week activities in late February each year. This is an event open to all members of the OSU and Corvallis communities. Volunteers at the event are divided into groups and assigned different areas of campus to canvas to collect garbage and recyclables. The event culminates prize drawing and refreshments for all volunteers. Please contact LeeAnn Baker or call 541-737-6400 for more information about how you can be involved in this important event.

• June - Move Out: Assist departing students to donate and recycle their unwanted items.
  In partnership with Housing and Dining , Allied Waste of Corvallis , and the Benton County Solid Waste Advisory Council, Campus Recycling presents “Move-Out Week” June 9-13 2008. This is an event open to all members of the OSU and Corvallis communities. Volunteers are needed to assist dormitory residents in correctly sorting recyclables, and will receive a brief orientation before their shifts . Campus Recycling is also available with information for students living off-campus, so that they, too, can  "sort it out."
