  • April - Earth Week on OSU Campus

  • May - OSU Alumni Association will lead a day of community service projects in Bend, Portland, Corvallis, Seattle and the San Francisco bay area on May 16. Volunteers from the "OSU Day of Service" helping out at Children's Farm Home.

  • June - Move Out: Assist departing students to donate and recycle their unwanted items.
In partnership with Housing and Dining , Allied Waste of Corvallis , and the Benton County Solid Waste Advisory Council, Campus Recycling presents “Move-Out Week” June 9-13 2008. This is an event open to all members of the OSU and Corvallis communities. Volunteers are needed to assist dormitory residents in correctly sorting recyclables, and will receive a brief orientation before their shifts . Campus Recycling is also available with information for students living off-campus, so that they, too, can  "sort it out." Please contact Pete Lepre or call 541-737-4019 for more information about how you can be involved in this important event.

Do you have an idea for a project, or would you like to find other volunteer projects to particpate in? Check out Taking Care of Oregon Days for additional opportunities.
