Kate Peterson serves as Assistant Provost for Enrollment Management. Kate has worked in higher education for over 25 years, the majority of which was in student financial aid and scholarships. She moved into enrollment management in September 2005. In her current role, she has served on the Faculty Senate Budget & Fiscal Planning Committee, on the University Budget Committee, on the Student Affairs Leadership Team and as Co-chair of the Enrollment Planning Workgroup.
She received her undergraduate degree from Washington State University and did her graduate work at the University of Idaho.
She is a native of the Palouse hills of eastern Washington.

The assistant provost for Enrollment Management reports to the vice provost for Student Affairs and serves as a member of various Student Affairs Leadership workgroups. The assistant provost collaborates with others to develop institutional enrollment goals that reflect the mission and goals of the university.

Joy Jorgensen provides executive assistance to Kate Peterson, Assistant Provost for Enrollment and to Susie Brubaker-Cole, Associate Provost for Academic Success and Engagement. Joy has nineteen years’ experience at Oregon State University. She serves on a number of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs committees and as the building manager for the Kerr Administration Building.
