OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY

Equipment

Our laboratory is in Kelley Engineering Center, rooms 3002, 3004 and 3006. In addition to standard electrical test and measurement instruments, we maintain a range of specialized equipment for characterizing magnetic materials and devices.

External users interested in magnetic characterization can access these tools or request our measurement services for a fee. Please contact Dr. Dhagat, co-Director of the laboratory, at dhagat@oregonstate.edu or visit http://onami.us/technology-labs/applied-magnetics-laboratory to inquire about tool use and our services.

In addition to the aforementioned equipment, students and researchers of the Applied Magnetics Laboratory have access to campus-wide, shared facilities including a cleanroom (http://research.engr.oregonstate.edu/masc/) for thin film deposition and microfabrication of devices, an electron microscopy facility (http://www.science.oregonstate.edu/emfacility/) and a staffed machine shop.
