Betty Duvall joined the School of Education six years ago as Professor and Coordinator of the Community College Leadership Program. Prior to that she was the first Community College Liaison in the U.S. Department of Education. Betty has had a long career as a community college administrator, as executive dean of the Rock Creek Campus of Portland Community CollegePortland Community College, and as an instructional dean at St. Louis Community College, Florissant Valley. Betty has been active in several professional organizations and currently serves on the CAEL Board and the Academic Advisory Council, College Board, and is an evaluator for the Commission of Northwest Accreditation Association. She has published articles related to community colleges and is frequently asked to speak on community college issues.
