Lillian Larwood Retires
Lillian Larwood, assistant state 4-H Program Leader and former interim Department Head, is retiring in December after more than 25 years of service. Since 1996, Lillian has been a state 4-H specialist with the Oregon program, focusing on adult volunteer development and global education. She has served 4-H in Oregon, Montana, and Washington in a variety of roles including involvement with the International 4-H Youth Exchange program and serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the OSU Extension Agency.
Lillian has authored or co-authored many publications and training handbooks over the years as well as writing curriculum, organizing national and international conferences, and securing grant funding for 4-H projects. Several events are planned around the state to celebrate Lillian’s many contributions to youth development.
