Dan Heine

Dan Heine is Chairman, CEO and Founder of The Bank of Oswego in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Dan is a 1969 graduate of Indiana State University. In 1983, he graduated with honors from the prestigious Stonier Graduate School of Banking, then located at Rutgers University. His thesis on “Independent Community Banking” was selected for publication in the permanent libraries of Harvard University, University of Delaware, and the American Bankers Association. Dan has served on the Stonier faculty for 20 years, now housed at Georgetown University. Dan is quoted frequently in major banking publications on subjects such as industry trends, banking strategy, leadership, marketing, and customer service. He has authored a national magazine article on the human side of an acquisition. He has served on the boards of numerous national, state, and local organizations, and has been accorded several honors throughout his career, including Stonier’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 1995.
Dan is an avid tennis player and boating enthusiast.
