Leadership of Diversity Development

Jason J. Dorsette

Jason oversees the finances, facilities, and strategic planning of the seven Cultural Resource Centers at Oregon State University. Jaosn serves as a resource to Oregon State University and  is charged with identifying opportunities to engage the Cultural Resource Centers with the campus at large, and to facilitate the further development of opportunities for student success and engagement. In particular, Jason assists the university in utilizing the expertise of the Cultural Resource Centers to realize our collective vision. In all of these endeavors, Jason works closely with the Cultural Resource Center Student Leaders, Assistant Directors , Intercultural Student Services-Diversity Development, and the OSU Student Affairs Leadership Team.


Salvador Miramontes, Jr., (Administrative Program Specialist) earned his Bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University, in the field of Graphic Design, in 2010. He joined the team after spending the last three years in the Tourism/Hospitality Industry as a Marketing & Communications Coordintor along the Columbia River Gorge.

Whitney Jones (Assistant Director)

Whitney Jones joined the Cultural Resource Center professional team as the Assistant Director of the Women Center at Oregon State University in November of 2014. Whitney has worked in higher education since 2005 and brings a great deal of experiences from multiple institutions such as Cottey College, Western Oregon University, University of Michigan, and Oregon State University. Whitney also brings to experience across several functional areas including admissions, registrar’s office, and academic advising.  Whitney holds a Masters of Education (Ed. M) in College Student Services Administration and a Masters of Arts (M.A.) in Women Gender & Sexuality Studies, both from Oregon State University.



Reagan Le (Assistant Director)

Reagan Le joined the Cultural Resource Centers professional team in April of 2014 as the Assistant Director of the Asian & Pacific Cultural Center.



Luhui Whitebear (Assistant Director)

Luhui Whitebear joined the Cultural Resource Centers prrofessional team in October of 2013 as the Assistant Director of the NAL Eena Haws. Luhui was the first professional staff to ever be hired in any of our Cultral Resource Centers. Prior to OSU, Luhui worked with the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde as their College Advising & Scholarship Coordinator for over ten years. Luhui graduated from OSU with B.S. degrees in both Ethnic Studies (2003) and Anthropology (2013).



Melisa Lopez (Assistant Director)

Melisa Lopez joined the Cultural Resource Center professional team in June of 2014 as the Assistant Director of the Centro Cultural César Chávez.
