The Mikado
(Revival)

A revival of the Summer 2008 deliriously delightful musical production.

The Foreigner by Larry Shue

November 13-14 & 20-22 at 7:30pm and the 16th at 2pm

Larry Shue’s wildy comic farce, The Foreigner will open the 2008-2009 University Theatre season. Winner of two Obie Awards and two Outer Critics Circle Awards as Best New American Play and Best Off-Broadway Production, The Foreigner demonstrates what devilish deeds can be revealed when people think that “the foreigner” doesn’t understand a word of English. It is a hilarious romp through the mountains of north Georgia.

Winter Term 2009

Arcadia by Tom Stoppard

February 5-7 & 12-14 at 7:30pm

An exquisite and brilliant study of history, science and love shifting between the Early 19th Century and contempoary times.

 

The Shape of Things by Neil LaBute

March 5-7 at 7:30pm & the 8th at 2pm

This is a student directed show, and will take place in the Lab Theatre.

Spring Term 2009

Shakespeare's Journey by Leroy Clark

May 7-9 & 14-16 at 7:30pm

Shakespeare's "lost years." Come meet the dramatist at our West Coast Premier.

Original One-Act Festival

May 28-30 at 7:30pm & 31st at 2pm

Original student written and directed one-act plays.
