I would make a great DJ, because I enjoy being an active member of the community. Portland Fashion shows that benefit charities such as Doernbecher, assistant wedding coordinator at Savage Memorial Presbyterian Portland Church and Haitian outreach work are all programs that have brought me closer to my community. A position as a DJ at KBVR would align with closely with my previous community experiences, and help me connect with the Beaver nation in a positive way.
An Alternative Show that's got a mix of popular artists and some local bands. The shows goal would be to play upbeat and different rhythms. As a result, listeners would be inclined to listen for a longer duration, because the selection of music would provide a unique listening experience.
While on a START tour, our guide made a stop at Snell Hall. He made it clear that KBVR was a great way to get involved around campus.
