Beaver Yearbook

The Beaver has been the official yearbook of Oregon State University since the late 1800's. It was once name the Hayseed and also the Orange, the yearbook evolved to the name the Beaver shortly after the first reference was made to Beavers as an athletic team name in 1910. The Beaver Yearbook is the oldest of the five student media productions at OSU. The other publications are: The Barometer newspaper, KBVR TV, KBVR FM,and Prism Magazine.
The Beaver Yearbook is responsible for reporting the history of the school year at Oregon State University. We cover all aspects of our campus, including athletics, organizations, academic colleges, and major events. The yearbook paid staff is hired by the Student Media committee each spring. However, our staff is primarily students who participate for college credit, or as volunteers. If you would like to learn more about joining the yearbook staff please email the editor at: beaver.editor@oregonstate.edu.
