Biography 

Amas was born in Bolivia, and was a first generation student. His professional career has been helping students to achieve their goals. In his 10th year at OSU as the Director for CAMP, Amas is happy to also be working with SSS. Prior coming to OSU, Amas worked at Michigan State University and Eastern Washington University. His entire professional career has been working with underrepresented groups and students.

Biography: 

Clint worked as an advisor, counselor, and English instructor for three years before coming to OSU in 2012. He holds an MFA in creative writing and a graduate certificate in technical communications from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Clint is married with three children (one boy and two girls) and he enjoys reading, writing, mountain biking, backpacking, and spending time with his family. He is also a first generation college graduate.

Biography:

Amy has worked at OSU since 1996 and has worked as an Academic Counselor for SSS since 2005. She holds a Masters in MAIS with emphasis in Counseling and Education. Amy was born in Mexico, but grew up in Corvallis. She has 2 sons, 17 & 14, and enjoys spending time with family, skiing, snowboarding, boating, rafting, hiking, biking, camping & traveling.

Biography:

 

Michelle has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Ohio University and is currently a 2nd year student in the College Student Services Administration master’s program at OSU.  In addition to being a full-time student and working as an academic counselor with SSS, she is an advisor in the University Exploratory Studies Program and an instructor for ALS 114, Career Decision Making.  Before coming to OSU, she was an AmeriCorps volunteer helping high school seniors with the college application process.  Michelle loves to travel, hike, read, swim, snowboard, and spend time with her partner, family, and friends.
