TRIO Student Support Services helps students develop excellent academic skills, persist to graduation, and foster the habits of life long learning, within a culture of inclusivity and equality. To accomplish this mission, TRiO-SSS provides ongoing support throughout a student's college career and promotes development through advocacy and services beyond what is offered to traditional OSU students.

SSS Student: Steven Anderson

I come to SSS naturally, the first in my family to go to college. In June 2011 I graduated OSU (BS Accounting) 21 years after high school. I came to college when living on the streets didn’t work out, and I never would have made it without SSS. I hope to enter MBA studies, but may take a gap year. I know school is hard work, even harder when you come from a culture SSS serves. The struggles in my undergraduate years I will use to serve you, helping you reach your goals.

Fun Fact: I respect nearly all artists, but my favorite musicians perform a capella.
